About them

Focused Academy is a growing online learning platform that offers paid tools and services to instructors. Their idea was simple: give instructors everything they need to teach better, track student progress. And above all, stay organised, all in one place.

They didn’t just want to host courses. They wanted to build a structured system where instructors could focus on teaching while the platform took care of the technical mess.

Why They Came to Us

They had a clear vision and a few real challenges with off-the-shelf LMS tools. They came to us looking for something more specific to their workflow. Here’s what they needed help with:

Building the Right Experience

The Instructor Panel

We gave each instructor their own space. They can now:

Course Plan System

Instructors can choose from different subscription plans depending on what features they need. These plans are managed via a MemberPress integration, which handles access control behind the scenes.

Everything is tied to the instructor’s account. So once they choose a plan, the system adjusts automatically based on what’s included.

Student Data, Sorted

One of the key features was giving instructors full control over their student data securely. Be it tracking lesson history or checking on quiz performance, the data is presented in a way that’s easy to use.

User-Friendly for Admins Too

We didn’t forget the team behind the platform. The admin area includes a detailed view of all instructors, active plans, and usage stats. Everything is arranged so the team can quickly find what they’re looking for and jump in if someone needs help.
